I’ve taken video using FRAPS, now what?

I’m sort of confused on how to use the actual footage. The website has a tutorial, yes, but it doesn’t clarify on HOW to use the programs it tells you to download. I want to upload videos to YouTube to showcase my skills in Team Fortress 2. I’m using Windows 7, so I downloaded the Windows Live Movie Maker thing, and used it’s publish button, but will that auto-compress the files when it’s uploading?

All files will be compressed to .flv files when being uploaded. Whether the video will be HD or HQ or not will depend on the quality of your original video and whether the raw file format supports HD or not.

Plus, you don’t need WMV to upload to Youtube. WMV is a software to do the most simple video-editing tasks. You can directly upload your original file to Youtube, no need for WMV the middle man if you don’t want to edit the video.
